Toronto Raptors make final roster cuts ahead of the 2024-2025 season

Prior to the 2024–2025 season, the Toronto Raptors have made their final cuts, waiving Jahmi’us Ramsey, Jared Rhoden, and Branden Carlson.

Regarding these players joining the Raptors 905, they would need to purchase Ramsey's rights from the Oklahoma City Blue, possess Rhoden's G League rights, and currently have no ownership of Carlson's rights.

Additionally, Oronto signed Kevin Obanor and waived him right away. This move is only for the sake of building the G League roster, since any player who signs an Exhibit 10 contract and is later waived will receive an additional $75,000 toward his G League pay.

In 45 games with the 905 last season, Obanor averaged 14.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 31.8 percent from beyond the arc.

During the offseason, Quincy Guerrier, a native of Montreal, Quebec, Dylan Disu, a big man, and guard Kennedy Chandler have all done the same for the Canadian squad.

Additionally, the Dinos converted Exhibit 10 player Jamison Battle, an undrafted rookie, into a two-way contract. As a fifth-year senior at Ohio State last season, the shooter averaged 15.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 43.3 percent from beyond the arc, good for ninth place in the NCAA.

Before the Raptors' season opening against the Cleveland Cavaliers on October 23, this is the roster as of right now.
