Jake Oettinger’s new 8-year extension with the Stars

Jake Oettinger has signed an extension with the Dallas Stars for 8-years with an AAV of $8.25 million.

The contract most certainly gives Dallas some assurance, knowing they have locked up one of their most important players for the long term.

Oettinger has played a pivotal role in helping the Stars get to back-to-back Western conference finals in the last two seasons.

Jake is off to another hot start this season being 3-0, with a 1.63 GAA and a .948 save percentage. The club looks to continue their hot start as they are in Washington tonight.
