Edmonton Oiler fan stirs up controversy with inappropriate gesture
After the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Dallas Stars 3-2 in the Western Conference Finals, one fan couldn't contain her joy.
At the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, the Oilers defeated the Stars 3-1. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, an Oilers center, sealed the victory in Game 5 with two goals during the power play. Edmonton was initially behind 2-1 in the series, but has since won back-to-back games.
When the Oilers won Game 5, a female fan showed her excitement by flashing the crowd. Note that the fan is fully exposed in the video.
As of this writing, the video has received 100,000 likes and over seven million views on X, proving how ubiquitous it has become.
It's unclear if the fan realized she was being filmed before covering her chest with the Oilers jersey. When she realized there was a camera, she awkwardly put her shirt back down, but she was able to laugh it off later.
Unlike the two flashers from the 2019 MLB World Series, the fan who made the obscene gesture likely won't be barred from future games because it seemed to be an act of pure joy.
I’ve seen this video of the Oiler’s fan flashing the crowd on my feed a few times now. Classless and disgusting in my opinion. Time and place and this was completely inappropriate. Kids are there, other people who do not want to be subjected to that are there 😳

It would be a disgrace if “flashing the Bs” were to become the Oiler version of the “terrible towels” or whatever other teams have in their arenas.

Absolutely terrible.
Some dad took his 7 year son to the Oilers watch party tonight and now has to explain why that girl flashed her titties. #NotMe
