The Seattle Kraken and Philadelphia Flyers completed a prospect-for-prospect trade on Thursday, with forward Tucker Robertson heading to Philadelphia in exchange for forward J.R. Avon.
Robertson, 22, was originally drafted by Seattle in the fourth round (123rd overall) of the 2022 NHL Draft. Last season with the AHL’s Coachella Valley Firebirds, he tallied four goals and nine points across 38 games.
Avon, also 22, entered the Flyers’ system as an undrafted free agent in 2021. The Peterborough, Ontario native has spent the last two seasons with the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms, where he has produced 16 goals and 35 points over 125 games.

Knock, knock. Avon calling.
