Christmas is coming earler for hockey fans on Tuesday October 22, Its Frozen Frenzy! when on a given night, all 32 NHL teams play. A new puck drop occurs every 15 minutes for 13 games throughout a three-hour period, and each of the 16 games has a separate start time.
Three of those games, including the Washington Capitals' game versus the Philadelphia Flyers, will be broadcast nationally on ESPN. At 6 p.m., an hour earlier than normal, the Caps-Flyers game begins the evening. ESPN's other two games are the Los Angeles Kings vs. Vegas Golden Knights game at 11:00 p.m. and the Colorado Avalanche vs. Seattle Kraken game at 8:30 p.m.
