Thursday Oct 24th: The Vegas Golden Knights have locked up top defenseman Shea Theodore for seven (7) more years at an annual salary of $7.425 million. This will most certainly give Vegas some great stability on the back end through 2031, when he will be 36 years old.

Theodore has been with the Knights since their inaugural season in 2017, after being acquired in a trade with Anaheim. Over the years he has been the franchise leader in points by a defenseman (296 pts in 450 GP) and played a critical role in the Golden Knight’s 2023 Stanley Cup win.

This season he is off to a hot start with 1 goal 6 assists for 7 points in just 6 games.
